Leigh Elko is a seasoned healthcare leader with over 20 years of experience spanning clinical care, ambulatory and acute operations, and healthcare informatics, including digital transformation. Known for her ability to bridge cross-functional teams, Leigh excels in driving strategic initiatives and complex system implementations aimed at improving healthcare delivery and patient outcomes.

Leigh has held key roles at renowned organizations such as Christiana Care and Thomas Jefferson University Health Systems, where she led large-scale projects including IT systems integration, chronic disease management, and practice optimization. She has a strong background in strategic implementation, and her work has consistently delivered measurable improvements in operational efficiency and patient care.

In her current role as Senior Program Manager at Johns Hopkins Health Plans, Leigh partners with cross-functional stakeholders and external vendors to lead Quality (HEDIS) strategy and initiatives across multiple lines of business, ensuring high-quality care and regulatory compliance.

In addition to her professional work, Leigh is an adjunct professor specializing in quality & safety, operational excellence, and clinical informatics. She holds a Master’s degree in Health Administration from Saint Joseph’s University and is certified in Lean and PMP methodologies.
