Shruti Shah
General Partner, Symphonic Capital
Shruti Shah is a General Partner at Symphonic Capital, a venture capital firm investing in solutions that improve life for the 99%.
A founder turned investor, Shruti brings an operator’s precision and a systems builder’s lens to venture capital. She co-founded Move Loot, a YC-backed marketplace for secondhand furniture, where she served as Chief Operating Officer. Under her leadership, the company expanded nationally, grew its team to 300+, and raised $22M in venture capital. Move Loot’s mission to reduce waste and promote reuse reflected Shruti’s early commitment to climate solutions that drive real-world impact at scale.
Before joining Symphonic, Shruti held key roles across the entrepreneurial ecosystem. At Nike, she served as an Entrepreneur in Residence, helping shape the company’s sustainability strategy around resale. At Silicon Valley Bank, she also worked as an EIR, where she coached dozens of early-stage founders through the high-stakes moments of building—bringing empathy, clarity, and executional expertise. She’s also been an angel investor, backing a number of early stage startups in healthcare and fintech.
At Symphonic, Shruti has been instrumental in refining and expanding the firm’s thesis across Health, Wealth, and Climate Resilience. She’s helped ensure that climate is not treated as a silo, but as a systemic force shaping household stability—from healthcare access, to food systems, to intergenerational wealth creation.
