Tabatha Dixon
Blue Cross NC’s Manager of Value-Based Care Performance
Tabatha Dixon is a healthcare executive and nurse with extensive experience in healthcare transformation, strategic planning, and management. Tabatha serves as Blue Cross NC’s manager of value-based care performance. In this role, she leads a team of strategists who develop and evolve value-based reimbursement strategies under the Blue Premier umbrella. Tabatha has years of experience in nursing, healthcare consulting, provider and employer group engagement, and medical policy development. She was born and raised in Belhaven, a rural Eastern North Carolina town, and is a lifelong resident of North Carolina. She attended East Carolina University, where she graduated with a Master’s of Science in Nursing, Concentration in Nursing Leadership and Community Health. Tabatha holds certifications in case management and professional coding. Tabatha began her nursing career at what is now called ECU Health in Greenville and has more than twenty-five years of combined clinical experience in both rural acute care settings and commercial and government managed care. Tabatha is dedicated to the mental and physical health and well-being of the citizens of North Carolina and believes that partnering with physicians, other providers, and other healthcare stakeholders is critical to meeting that goal.
